Introduction

DL-malic acid is a mixture of D-malic acid and L-malic acid. It is stable in the normal circumstances and has hygroscopicity

at high humidity.

Color: White or almost white

Appearance: Crystalline powder or particles

Application: This product is applied in drinks,food and cosmetics.It can be used as the sour agent, color

retention agent, and other emulsion stabilizer.

It can be used as an acidulant in cool drinks(such as lactobacillus drinks, milk drinks, carbonated drinks, cola),frozen foods(such as sherbet and ice cream),processed foods(such as wine and mayonnaise).

It is used as color-keeper and antiseptic of juice. It is also used as emulsion stabilizer of egg yolk.

It can also be used as pharmaceutical intermediate, cosmetic, rinse, metal cleaner, buffering agent, retarder in textile industry, fluorescent whitening agent of polyester fibre.
